September: the time to return from summer to reality and begin a new school year. And with it, new challenges and skills that young students must acquire to successfully overcome the new academic year. One of the challenges in this new digital society is, without a doubt, staying up-to-date on technological skills so they can apply them in the classroom and in their daily lives.

Knowledge of new trends in this field will not only help students successfully complete the course, but will also be key to their future, as they are equally essential when it comes to work.

In this context, from the Orange Foundation A series of free courses are offered to help young people boost their skills. All can be found on the Orange Digital Center, the free online course platform focused on acquiring digital skills. "Today, acquiring digital training and knowledge is essential for students. Staying up-to-date with new trends and methodologies will be essential for classes, especially regarding digitalization, as it is becoming increasingly important in the classroom and represents an exceptional way to enhance their talents."

Technology will go hand in hand with young people throughout their lives; that's why it's so important to know and master it, to generate that differentiation in the new generations that the system expects," explains Daniel Morales, Director of Sustainability and Foundations at MASORANGE.

To develop new digital skills, Sé + Digital is a free 6-week online course, in which you can develop digital skills to improve your professional activities, start a business, or do business from anywhere. Backed by the experience of MASORANGE In service to businesses and self-employed workers, and thanks to the recognition and track record of the EOI School of Industrial Organization, which has been training professionals for 60 years, the program addresses topics ranging from the digital economy to positioning strategies.

To navigate the Internet like experts, to learn how to search for content on the Internet, access it easily, and understand how to use it, we have the course Searching, Accessing, and Using Content on the Internet. This 6-hour MOOC, taught by professors from the Polytechnic University of Madrid (UPM), will teach you free content licenses, how to search for this content, as well as how to cite and use it in your daily life. To make safer use of technology, the 10-hour MOOC course Safe and Responsible Use of ICTs (Information and Communication Technologies) will allow you to learn how to make better use of these technologies. This training covers various topics, including digital identity, online privacy management, netiquette, and risks for teenagers online. Programming for Beginners: Three Courses That Will Open the Door to the World of Development. The ODC course platform hosts training courses that provide students with hours of training to delve into programming in a simple and practical way. Among them (in SPOOC format, which allows each user to advance at their own pace in programming) are the "Introduction to App Inventor" course, for each user to design their own application for mobile devices; the "Introduction to Arduino: First Steps in Programming" training, which teaches the basic elements of the board and allows users to create their first programming project based on this language; and "Introduction to Scratch: First Steps in Programming," which aims to explain the world of block-based programming. In MOOC format, the ODC platform hosts "Introduction to Design and Digital Manufacturing," focusing on 2D vector design and 3D design or modeling. Three courses for advanced programming users. The ODC offers other SPOOC-type training courses, such as "App Inventor for Intermediate Users," which allows users to easily create mobile applications for Android and iOS using blocks or code; "Scratch for Intermediate Users," to learn more about block programming; and "Arduino for Intermediate Users," to delve deeper into robotics. All of these courses have been designed for people who already have more advanced programming skills.

For those with a more "pro" level, for more advanced users who want to take a step further to become true "experts" in programming and the maker world, the platform hosts courses such as "Arduino and App Inventor for Advanced Users," in which you learn to create projects connected to applications and which opens the doors to the so-called Internet of Things; or "Advanced Digital Manufacturing," a 15-hour course in NOOC format, to become an expert in 3D printing and digital modeling.
