Synopsis of “Cancun”

Two couples, lifelong friends , meet at a resort in Cancun , where they've gone to spend their vacation. Sun, beach, drinks… everything exudes relaxation, good vibes, and camaraderie. But one night, unexpectedly, they begin to question whether this is truly the life they expected.

When we're young, we sometimes make impulsive decisions: we meet people, we socialize, and one day we feel like we've fallen in love, even if we don't really know what it means. From then on, we get caught up in a cycle that never stops: we get married, we live together, we work, we have children, and without realizing it, we've been sharing our lives with someone else for twenty years.

Cancun plays with that uncomfortable question: what would have happened if, instead of marrying this person, we had married someone else? The element of chance becomes the driving force of a comedy where reality and fantasy blend, and where the four friends discover that perhaps their lives could have been very different.
