“My germà, Bernard”: poetry, memory and emotional exorcism in the Sala Beckett
The Sala Beckett hosts, from 19 September to October 12 2025, the premiere of My brother, Bernard, a poetic and multidisciplinary proposal that pays tribute to the playwright Bernard-Marie Koltès, who died in 1989 from AIDS.

The work, created by the company La Segona Millor, is based on the book Letters, a collection of letters written by Koltès and collected by his brother François.
Directed by Esther Villamor, who also signs the dramaturgy together with Berta Giraut, the piece is presented as an intimate journey into the afterlife, a song of love to the brothers, mothers, caregivers and friends who accompany us to the end.
The production combines text, video scenes, sound, and stage design into a highly emotional experience.

The cast heads it Albert Auselle, with voiceovers by Berta Giraut, Oriol Guinart y Sergi TorrecillaThe stage design and video scene are in charge of Alfonso Ferri Parres, while the lighting is the work of Raimon Rius and the sound of Esther Villamor y Gerard Marsal.
The work can be seen at the Dalt Room Beckett, with performances from Wednesday to Saturday at 19:30 p.m. and Sundays at 18 p.m. The performance lasts 1 hour, and tickets range from € 11 and € 22, with a special 50% discount on the first performances.
